Introduction
We are looking for an accomplished UX Design Lead with at least 15 years of experience delivering compelling design solutions that address complex business challenges and create meaningful user impact.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in leading cross-functional teams and driving outcomes in agile, iterative environments. You demonstrate strong leadership, a strategic mindset, and a collaborative spirit, able to partner closely with engineers, product owners, and technologists to shape intuitive, modern digital experiences.
If you’ve spent over 15 years crafting thoughtful design solutions and leading high-performing teams through ambiguity and scale, we’d love to connect.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead and empower a multidisciplinary design team, managing project delivery and team workflows using agile methodologies.
Set and guide high-level design strategy to ensure cohesive, engaging, and scalable user experiences across products.
Analyze complex problems, simplify workflows, and frame the right challenges to solve with a user-first mindset.
Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, marketers, and fellow designers to align on user needs, behaviors, and shared product goals.
Translate user research into impactful design solutions, guiding the process from concept through final implementation.
Produce essential UX deliverables such as concept maps, storyboards, taxonomies, interactive prototypes, design patterns, information architectures, and specifications.
Present and refine interaction concepts with stakeholders, clearly articulating design rationale using prototypes of varying fidelity to convey intent.
Identify and evolve reusable components, patterns, and templates in collaboration with design systems teams to ensure consistency at scale.
Review and elevate design work across the team, mentoring junior designers and cultivating a culture of excellence, diversity, and open collaboration.
Facilitate design reviews, team stand-ups, and cross-functional presentations to communicate design narratives and secure alignment across stakeholders.
Champion human-centered design practices in both internal collaboration and client engagements.
Plan, lead, and moderate both virtual and in-person design thinking workshops to drive discovery, alignment, and innovation.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
A comprehensive portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work, ranging from concept sketches to polished UI, with a strong grasp of interaction design, wireframing, and visual design principles.
Minimum of 15 years of experience designing intuitive, user-centered solutions for complex problems—across multiple platforms—with the ability to produce low- to high-fidelity prototypes and clearly defined interaction models.
Deep expertise in translating research insights into actionable design strategies, including the development of personas, journey maps, task flows, and usability test plans.
Proven experience applying industry trends, best practices, and accessibility standards to large-scale design challenges.
Fluency in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or InVision.
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey design rationale to diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and delivering high-impact design solutions from concept to market
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Experience designing for mobile-first and responsive digital products
Expertise in enterprise-grade software design and complex system workflows
Proven ability to plan, lead, and facilitate design thinking workshops to align stakeholders and accelerate product visioning
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Information Technology, or a related field.
Work Location & Flexibility
This is a hybrid role with a primary remote setup, but it may occasionally require on-site presence or short-term travel based on project needs. Candidates should be open to working from company-designated locations as needed to support collaboration, workshops, or client engagements.
Salary & Compensation
We offer a competitive compensation package aligned with market standards and reflective of your experience. Benefits include medical plans with employee-selected coverage options and applicable deductibles, paid time off, U.S. bank holidays, and other perks designed to support professional growth and well-being.
